Privacy notice

• Account details you give us: email, name, username, and optional bio, home location and travel styles.
• Content you publish: trips, destinations, itinerary stops, costs, tips, photos and videos.
• Social activity: follows, likes, saves and trip copies.
• Booking-link clicks: the trip, its creator, the link category and the destination URL.

TripLoop is funded by affiliate commission. When you tap a booking link on someone's trip, we record that click so the traveller who wrote the itinerary is credited if a booking follows. If you have not accepted analytics cookies, the click is stored without any link to your account.

• Public trips and profiles are visible to anyone, including search engines.
• Private and draft trips are visible only to you.
• Creators see aggregate performance for their own trips, never the identity of individual visitors.

Your account, content and click records are stored in our managed cloud database and file storage, with row-level access rules so a request can only read what it is entitled to.

Booking partners such as Booking.com, GetYourGuide, Google Flights and Rome2Rio receive a request from your browser when you follow a link to them, and process your data under their own policies. Map tiles and place lookups are served by OpenStreetMap-based providers.

• Edit or delete any trip, photo or video you have published at any time.
• Choose “Essential only” in the cookie prompt to stop clicks being linked to your account.
• Ask us to export or delete your account data by emailing the address below.
